Two Dogs Hug After Being Abandoned By Their Family At A High-Kill Shelter

After being abandoned by their adoptive father earlier this month, Adonis and Apolo are now the only people they have left, and they are searching for the same family that will give them the love they deserve. Members of the shelter watched the touching moment when these canines hugged one another, showing that they are the greatest of friends.

Adonis and Apolo were trembling, according to Cindy Droogmans, founder of A-Team ELITE Rescuedogs, a Long Island-based organization that rescues dogs from overcrowded shelters.

Fortunately, Cindy found them and saved them, taking them to a Huntington, New York, vet.

Cindy stated to The Dodo:

Given that they had heartworm, like the majority of dogs in Texas, it is likely that they were abandoned. Now, they are receiving complete medical care.

Due to the fact that most people prefer to adopt a single dog, the fact that Adonis and Apollo are inseparable makes it more challenging to locate them a permanent family.

Still, Cindy decided not to give up and find a perfect home for these two best friends.
