Puppies That Were Abandoned In The Garbage Could Not Contain The Joy Of Being Rescued

Last week, a man planned to surrender two three-month-old pups to the San Antonio Pets Alive veterinary clinic. The staff advised him to take the puppies to a nearby shelter, but four hours later they learned the dogs had been located. abandoned in a trash bin.

When a local butcher shop employee opened the container and was shocked to see them inside, he or she quickly called the clinic, and the clinic’s supervisor proceeded to assist them. The puppies were extremely appreciative of their rescue.

When we gave them food and affection, everyone went nuts and they quickly cuddled up to our kennel manager. They were bathed since they had fleas all over them, but we discovered that it was a strange experience for them; they much preferred feeding!

Says Kylie

“Bowie would take bites of his croquette and place them next to Crockett’s face while he wasn’t eating. He’d never seen a dog behave that way. His link is really consoling.

Puppies left in the trash were grateful to be rescued.
Although both pups have a long road to recovery, they will undoubtedly succeed and find themselves appropriate homes.

Says Kylie

The pups are very friendly and lively now that they are well-fed and getting medicine for their ailments. We have high hopes for complete recoveries. Crockett is mounting his cage door to attract the attention of the workers because he is feeling more daring right now.”
