Man Held A ‘Lost Dog’ Sign In The Street Until He Found His Family

Last Friday, Jason Gasparik was en route to a friend’s house when he came across a forlorn puppy. He rescued her and led her to her family without a moment’s hesitation.

Jason stated to The Dodo:

“I saw a car stopped on the highway and a person sprinting over the lawn. The dog (Roxy) was then seen racing around the road in circles while afraid and disoriented.

Because she was so terrified, it was really difficult to capture her. Jason was unable to approach her for an hour until she finally gave up.

In his words:

I understood that if I ran lightly, he would pursue me. She was fun yet really frightened. After a few laps, she eventually gave in to exhaustion and laid down, allowing me to hold her neck. I then decided to run around the neighboring parking lot.

He made the choice to take her to a 24-hour animal hospital. When Roxy was inspected there, it was found that she had a microchip, but no owner had saved the identifying number.

Jason made the decision to post on a Facebook group for abandoned dogs and to utilize PawBoost because he realized he had to go outside the box to find Roxy’s family.

PawBoost is a tool that aids in increasing the visibility of Facebook postings and serves as a hub for finding and connecting with rescue volunteers.

In his words:

“When I initially took her home, she leaped into my bed and instantly landed on top of me, kissing my face. She seemed glad to be with me, but you could tell she was confused and terrified.”

The next morning, this individual made the decision to use a more conventional strategy and make a cardboard poster.

He decided to take her to an animal hospital open round-the-clock. However, no owner had preserved the microchip’s identification number when Roxy was examined there.

Jason decided to use PawBoost and post on a Facebook page for stray dogs after realizing he had to go outside the box to locate Roxy’s family.

PawBoost is a tool that assists in boosting Facebook post exposure and acts as a center for locating and establishing connections with rescue volunteers.
