A Rescued Baby Elephant With His Mother From An Elephant-Riding Camp Takes His First Bath And Now Enjoys His Life

A rescued baby elephant was eager to take his first bath when he stepped into a small tub filled with water. Animals who are helped to change their lives always have a special thanks for the people who give them their support, but they also start to experience activities that they have never experienced before.

On the grounds of an elephant riding camp in the Thai city of Chiang Mai, Chaba was born in a modest concrete enclosure.

The mother of the little kid was compelled to put on daily performances for visitors, including bicycle riding, painting, and other stunts.

This is very likely what would have happened to Chaba as well, but thankfully, rescuers from the Save Elephant Foundation were able to step in and save him.

According to Ry Emmerson, the foundation’s director of initiatives, to The Dodo:

“Our team visited the camp to explore how we could aid Chaba and her mother, BunMa, after learning about their suffering.

Rescuers discovered the mother and baby elephant in a concrete enclosure without any food when they got to the camp. The mother was also attached to a short chain by one leg, and it was obvious that both animals need medical care in order to enhance their health.

The elephant family was eventually rescued in August when the charity’s founder personally mediated their release.

To get the elephants to the Elephant Nature Park (ENP) wildlife sanctuary, rescuers already had a plan in place. BunMa didn’t want to board the transfer van because she was so anxious and worried about losing her kid.

Ry remarked:

“We determined that walking to our refuge would be safer for them. They walked for two hours before reaching ENP, where they were welcomed with an elephant cake.”

After finishing the welcome cake and being content in their new house, Chaba prepared for his first bath.
