He Comes To A Shoe Store, Exhausted From Traveling The Streets, Asking For Attention, Even For Christmas
The life of a dog on the street is sad and dangerous; they are subjected to a variety of mistreatments, and not all of their stories end happily.
That is why, bored of a life of heartache and indifference, a homeless furry guy sprang at the first chance he saw, trying to touch the hearts of humans.
Many in the networks were affected when the small guy arrived one day at the counter of a shoe store, pleading for affection at least during these Christmas days, when everyone seems to be in a good mood.
Nego was a lovely black dog with white spots that strolled the streets of downtown Sorocaba, Sao Paulo, eliciting smiles from passers-by thanks to his charm and loving look.
However, the small animal came upon an open shoe store one day and decided to enter, crouched behind the counter.
The store’s proprietors, Alexandre Raszl Peres and his wife Kelly, had not observed anything until they were alerted of the unexpected visitor. And, despite their affection for dogs (they already have two at home), they were stumped in this situation.
“All of a sudden, they informed me that there was a dog in the store.” I discovered a terrified, skinny, and forlorn dog behind the counter. We didn’t know what to do at the moment. “We believed he’d gone missing,” Alexandre explained.
They decided to take it to a veterinarian for an examination to ensure the animal’s health.
The couple shared images of the puppy on social media in the hopes that someone would come forward to claim him if he became lost, but no one came forward.
Never in a million years would I abandon him on the street. Inside the tent, I set up a bed, as well as water and food. “We also went to the vet and had tests done to make sure he was well,” the man stated.
After the vet verified Nego’s good health, it was time to find him a new home; they couldn’t accept him since they already had two dogs.
The dog lingered for months at the store when no one responded to the advertising offering him for adoption. Every day, he captured the hearts of the proprietors of the business, and they eventually chose to keep him.
“The day he passed beneath that counter, he selected us.” Our days have been filled with love, pleasure, and devotion since then. “He captivates everyone, he is loving, he wants to greet people, he is the store’s attraction,” Alexandre explained.
Customers love the dog, and he’s such a hard worker that they created him a picture of himself as “employee of the month” that hangs on the wall, and it’s also the image of the shoe store’s social media advertisements.
