A pretty odd scenario occurred recently in Cariacica, Espirito Santo, Brazil. A homeless dog heading in the direction of a veterinary facility was captured on security cameras. The dog anxiously awaited the arrival of veterinarian Jooureo Rodrigues de Oliveira to check on her.

The vet instantly recognized her as pregnant and on the verge of giving birth. As a result, he accepted her to the clinic without hesitation.

Amiga, the dog, was able to give birth safely and gave birth to six lovely pups under the care of the doctor. Amiga understood exactly what she needed to do to keep her babies safe and secure.

The surprises, however, did not stop with the delivery. After Amiga was giving birth, the cubs’ father eagerly awaited what seemed to be his family outside the clinic.
