Orphaned Kitten Makes Rescue Piglet Her Best Friend, And It’s Adorable

Meet Laura, the orphaned kitten with special needs, and his best buddy Marina, the rescue piglet. The pair initially met in Santiago, Chile, at the Santuario Igualdad Interespecie, an interspecies equality refuge for farm animals.

Marina’s mother dumped her on the street because she was unwell and had pus-filled eyes. Thankfully, she was scooped up and sent to a Chilean refuge, sparing her life.

The rescuers did everything they could to save her, and she regained her strength fast. Even the caregivers and animals at the refuge began to play with the small kitten. Marina and Laura met at that time, and they have since been close friends.

Laura was born to be butchered, but campaigners intervened and saved her from the slaughterhouse. She was shaking with terror as she arrived to the refuge. The little cat, on the other hand, helped her relax and settle down.

They found solace in each other and have formed the strangest and most lovely of friendships. They snuggle, play, and snooze together, and they shower each other with hugs and kisses. They keep close together even when they aren’t snuggling, like greatest lifelong friends should. Marina serves as Laura’s bestie alarm clock whenever she sleeps in. Laura, on the other hand, always returns the favor.

This adorable couple’s connection demonstrates that two people may develop a beautiful friendship even if they don’t look alike or come from entirely different backgrounds.
