When The Chickens Go On A Walk Around The Neighborhood, They Are Given High-Visibility Vests

Davina and Deidre are the names of two chickens that have become extremely popular in their neighborhood because of their free character, which prevents them from realizing that their space is limited to the house’s patio.

David Williams took these two creatures home for his 8-year-old son’s birthday present. He had intended to keep the two creatures in a chicken coop he had put up in his yard, but the hens had other ideas.

For safety, chickens are given vests.

Davina and Deidre’s need to walk the area freely was clear from the start, and they refused to be limited to the patio.

According to David, who spoke to Cambridgeshire Live,

I began by attempting to keep them inside. They, on the other hand, had alternative intentions from the start: they wanted to be free to roam anywhere they pleased. In the summer, when the evenings were still clear, they began to wander. However, as the nights became darker, we were afraid that if they were near an area or in a driveway, people would miss them.

So, inspired by Davina and Deidre’s adventurous attitude and the dangers that lurked in the streets, the store’s owner devised a brilliant solution to the problem. The owner decided to buy a pair of bright visibility jackets to keep his hens safe and identified.

David bought the jackets from Omlet, a firm that specializes in pet novelty items. The hens got their vests when the order arrived, giving them more reputation when it came to wandering freely throughout the neighborhood.

Since then, the two pals have gone on regular walks around the area, often wandering Milton Keynes’ streets in the mornings and afternoons.

Cambridgeshire Live received the following statement from a local:

«It makes me happy when they visit my yard and eat the snails that eat my plants. They’re assisting me in a positive way. They are now a part of the community and provide joy to our lives.

Davina and Deidre have become local Milton Keynes superstars because to their outgoing personalities and distinctive jackets, and everyone adores them.

David stated, ”

“We continue to feed them enough, and people continue to shower them with gifts. They do, however, love locating food for themselves.
