The Man Rescued The Rescued The Dog From The Canal

In Mexico, Said Zárate works as a garbage collector, a grueling profession with little attention, but that has suddenly changed. Said’s bravery earned him accolades and the warmest gratitude from a puppy stuck in a canal, which he rescued without hesitation.

While driving his vehicle in an agricultural region not long ago, he came across a spectacle that absolutely captivated him: a dog urgently trying to get out of a concrete canal.

According to Said, who spoke to The Dodo:

«I noticed something moving in the water and kept searching until I recognized it as a dog. I instructed my companion to come to a halt.

A dog stuck in a canal expresses gratitude to the person who rescued him.

The guy moved swiftly, grabbing an empty sack that the dog could assist him grasp onto as they attempted to exit the canal. The dog was quite weak from its struggle to remain afloat, but Said was undeterred and persevered until he was able to pull the dog out of the water.

“He jumped into my arms.”

Said shared the video on Facebook, and the response was immediate. In the video’s description, he said:

«There’s a reason I’m in this planet. I’m grateful that I was able to save him. I’m pretty sure he thanked me.

The dog appeared to be from a nearby ranch, and he appeared to be in good condition and happiness. Said assumed it was an accident, but the dog appeared to have a wonderful family.

Said added: 

“He gladly returned home after spending some time with us.”

Said received another unexpected thank you when the footage of the imprisoned dog’s rescue went viral; the dog’s father was among those who viewed the video and did not hesitate to write a letter to the heroic guy who rescued his pet.

Said told the story:

“He thanked me for assisting his dog in a message.”
